About the Author
Daniel North is an Army veteran and an author of science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, non-fiction, and the beautifully strange.
He is a lifelong storyteller, and recently published independent author with nearly four decades of writing behind him — including some admittedly teen-angsty poetry, plenty of unrelated chaotic scribbling, and military notebooks dating back to 1985.
For more than forty years, he quietly built worlds, created characters, and stockpiled ideas across more than 200 story folders. Yes, seriously.
Now, those stories are finally being released into the wild.
His stories may feature rogue technology, haunted people, cursed objects, impossible choices, sarcastic artifacts, broken heroes, dangerous secrets, or the occasional idea that absolutely refused to stay small.
At the heart of it all is a love of storytelling — stories with action, atmosphere, emotion, humor, and enough bite to leave a mark. Just a small one. Don’t worry...you can probably cover it with a heart tattoo.
For years, these stories lived in notebooks, folders, and half-mad bursts of inspiration while waiting for the right time to step into the world.
That time is now.
Daniel created The Word-Weaver’s Quill, LLC as a home for those stories, future novels, collaborative projects, and the many worlds still waiting their turn.
His goal is simple: to create stories that entertain, unsettle, inspire, surprise, and occasionally make readers laugh — or cry just a little — at the chaos hiding between the lines.
Daniel lives in New Jersey with his wife and son. He drinks just enough coffee — yes, there are mushrooms in it — trusts politicians even less than vending machines, and has absolutely no plans to slow down anytime soon.
When he isn’t writing, he is usually collecting ideas, making notes he swears he’ll organize later, or discovering that one stray thought has somehow become another book.
Come along for the ride.
